Blood Visions
Magic blood, snarling beasts, love tamed and true.

Zyra is dating a Vampire who is completely obsessed with her, but now that the newness has worn off she realizes it’s nothing more than great sex.  She wants more.  She wants the true love she knows will last her throughout her immortal days and nights.  Tarquin has been living on instinct for far too long, it is his time to die, and he knows it.  Can the patience of his beautiful enemy give him the will to control himself, and can they find a way to pure ecstasy together in bed?

“Zyra, you have been feeding again.”  Paxton fell into step beside her, seemingly out of nowhere.  A vampire could move faster than the human eye could see, a reason why rumors were rampant that they could fly or teleport, something only those psychotic Elves could do, that she knew of.

“Paxton, you know I have to feed at least once a week.  I am just too young to be a mommy, too irresponsible by far.”  Zyra spoke with a light teasing tone and ran her finger suggestively along the front seam of his pants.  “So now that I am all pumped on human blood, why don’t we go somewhere and fuck?”

Paxton hissed and grabbed her hand in a punishing grip.  “No more games Zyra, I can smell the magic.  You went out deliberately looking for a Blood Vision didn’t you?  Are you really so unhappy in your life with me?”  His voice turned pleading and so sad.  He dropped her hand and turned away.

“Oh Paxton.”  Zyra laid a hand on his shoulder.  “You know how I feel.  I never misled you in any way.  You just chose to believe what you wanted.”

Paxton stiffened and Zyra could smell his anger intensifying.  “That’s bullshit and you know it.”  He whirled back to look at her, his eyes burning bright red in his anger.  “I can’t make you stay, but I don’t have to let you live in peace without me either.”

With those foreboding words he was gone, moving so fast that a couple hookers down the street had to look twice and rub their eyes to try and make sense of the man who had seemingly just disappeared right in front of them."

Reincarnated Death Wish
To experience passion is to choose death

Amelia lives each day with the knowledge that she will be killed on October 31st, her twenty-second birthday, only to be reincarnated one hundred years later.  While alive she is haunted by dreams of passion she is never able to experience and death she knows is waiting for her.  A demon is coming to kill her, and fate decrees that she will choose death from him.  What could possibly drive her to ask for her own death—only the promise of her every fantasy coming true before the death blow.

"At eleven I heard him, calling to me. He wanted me to return to my apartment, he waited there for me. My knees went weak with fear and excitement, I couldn’t control the compulsion to obey, I had to go to him. Without a single goodbye, I walked out, mind numb to anything other than the task at hand, getting to my demon.

Somewhere in the back of my mind I knew I was doing something stupid, I shouldn’t make it this easy for him. If he wanted to kill me, then I should make him come to me, but those thoughts were fleeting and I could not make myself obey them.

Daray’s thoughts and desires filled my mind, and that is what my body obeyed, as if he were its true master. I was helpless to fight it, and I wasn’t afraid. His compelling me was not malicious. It was somehow comforting, as if a long awaited return. This is what I have lived the last twenty-two years waiting for.

When I stood outside my apartment door wondering how I got there, I almost faltered. I had a sudden moment of returned clarity, I wanted to fight, I wanted to live. I was not going down easy."

Excerpt:

"Kayla slid out of the guest bed and stepped out onto the small lanai.  She looked out at the moonlit beach and churning waters of the North Shore.  It was beautiful, and it was the exact scene from her dream, missing only one very important piece, the Godlike surfer straddling his surfboard in the water.  His coal black skin wet and glistening, his black hair falling in wet locks around his face.  He was beautiful, strong body and sensuous face, dark eyes and full lips.  Every part of him promised pleasure, and she wanted to be on the receiving end of all of it.

Kayla’s whole body tightened as if it were a real memory instead of just a dream.  God how she wished it was more than just a dream.  That was the kind of man she needed in her life, to make her forget, even for a little while, about all the things that had gone so wrong recently.

She shuddered as the warm breeze ran across her overly sensitive skin.  The sensual feel of it nearly making her drop to her knees and beg for a real live man to take care of the ache that had been so long unsatisfied.  A small whine escaped her lips as her mind drifted back to the dream man that she couldn’t have."

Treasure of Flowers

She was looking to save her family.
He was looking for revenge.
Together they embark on a journey that leads
Them to discover something unexpected,
Love

When Violet is forced to choose between herself and her father’s treasured amulet she makes the green-eyed captain an offer he can’t refuse, a treasure hunt, with her as his guide.  Trevon is out for revenge but something about the defiant girl he finds on her hands and knees in his cabin intrigues him, and her offer of a treasure hunt is irresistible.  They journey together across sea and land, Violet discovers a joy she never thought possible and Trevon discovers a new reason to live.  But is their connection enough when the lies of the past emerge to change their present?

"Trevon looked at the amulet he held in his palm, wondering about its true value if this man was so desperate to have it back. Trevon could not believe the beautiful stone held any magical power, but he was sure it was worth more than he had originally thought. He gazed into Violet’s beautiful eyes and was taken aback by the raw emotion there. He had an unexpected and overwhelming urge to comfort her in some way.

Comfort was usually the last thing on his mind around a beautiful woman, but looking at Violet, he couldn’t help himself. He wanted to make her smile. He could not stand seeing her so pained. His surprising new feelings made him quite uncomfortable. Trevon closed his large hand around the amulet.

He took the map so he could examine it closely with his well-trained eye. He had seen so many maps over the years and prided himself on being able to spot a fake better than any other man. This map looked authentic, but the only true way of knowing was to follow it. You never could tell what you would find at the end of a treasure map, nor its value, until it was followed. A treasure map was nothing more than a promise of adventure to those brave enough to chase the trail.

Trevon’s blood began to race at the thought of a new treasure hunt. And having this beautiful woman around was not an unpleasant thought either. It was an interesting proposition for sure. It had been an impulse decision to ask for her in exchange of the amulet. Something about her riled his passions and he was used to pursuing anything that stirred him even half as much as she did. The thought of having her and the map made his blood boil with excitement."

Lover's Stone

Jasmine Jones doesn’t believe in love, or the power of the objects she is hired to find.  She uses her secret ability to be the best thief around, better even than Cole Grubman.  A super smooth thief who shows up on the same trail as her, more often than she likes.  Will destiny decide that they are true lovers?  Or will Jasmine’s refusal to make herself vulnerable keep their passion a wistful memory?

"It was one AM when Jasmine slipped into the dark house. Dressed in a black cat suit and gloves, she blended with the shadows—not that anyone was around to spot her anyway.

She crept through the rooms, letting her senses guide her flawlessly through the lightless spaces clear as day. She made it to the bedroom and found the stone carelessly stuffed into a nightstand. Obviously Mr. Wellesley didn’t think the stone was that precious or priceless, or perhaps he was just that confident in his security. Jasmine couldn’t contain the scoff at his stupidity.

She held the unassuming thing up in the moonlight. It appeared to be nothing special—a smooth black stone about the size of her palm. But it was heavy, easily three times as heavy as it should be for the small size. It heated in her palm and she wrapped both hands around it, drawn to its warmth. The warmth soon spread up her arms and into the rest of her body. Jasmine closed her eyes and enjoyed the feel of it, of the comforting warmth. It was like being held tight by a familiar lover. "
